The hillsides that nestle the Alle Camelie farm are terraced with over 2000 olive trees. We produce a top quality organic olive oil for a selective clientele. The garden dates back to the early years of last century. The historic camellias that surround our villa are featured in an annual festival of camellias held every spring in this area, Old Camellias of the Lucca Region (Antiche Camelie della Lucchesia). The camellias, a vegetable garden and a greenhouse are in the lower cooler section of the garden. Box hedges, bamboo and lemon trees in terracotta pots are by the Villa on the next level. The vineyard is just above, ending before the stacked stone walls that begin the olive grove. The olive grove includes a garden filled path that stretches to the woods. It is filled with lavender and rosemary, complete with a collection of old varieties of fruit trees and other aromatic plants.
